Pieces from this series will be made available for sale, with all funds donated to the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative to support our efforts to improve the welfare of animals in the region.

Artists for Animals

Exhibit Dates: Friday, June 3rd through Saturday, July 9th. Location: AFA Gallery (101 Penn Ave, Scranton PA, 18503).

Exhibit Description: The artists will capture the animals’ aesthetics by utilizing their own unique creative styles, their history, personality, and “spirit” on the canvas. Information on the animal’s past, personality, etc. can be provided at a later date. In addition to an open call to all AFA Gallery members in good standing for 2D or 3D works, AFA is commissioning several artists (covering supplies and stipend for their time) to create large 2D works (30 x 40 canvases) based on images and descriptions of the animals the shelters and rescues will provide.
