The Alan B. Cunningham Scholarship Award is named in memory of Alan B. Cunningham, and is intended to support a graduating senior from North Pocono High School who intends to continue into a post-secondary education for business or accounting. Preference, in the following order, will be to applicants who have direct ancestor who is/was a North Pocono High School graduate from the years 1976, 1977, 1978, 1981, 2001, and/or 2005; who provide volunteer service, have an extenuating need, such as a financial or other hardship, have strong academic achievement, such as GPA, AP courses, participation in extracurricular activities, and/or employment, have been involved in high school sports including player, score keeper, manager, etc., have been involved in Boy Scouts during high school.
