Christopher will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor, warm heart, willingness to help others, artistic mind, wonderful smile.

Chris’s love and devotion to his family and his German shepherds were unprecedented. His passion encompassed hiking, art, movies, fishing and kayaking. Being outdoors is where he found peace.

Chris struggled with substance abuse starting at a very young age, He was in recovery several times and while working at a treatment center, he helped many others. Chris relapsed in March of 2022 and tragically lost his battle with substance abuse.

The Christopher Kalina Memorial Fund was established in 2023 to help support individuals that may not have the financial ability to seek help in recovering from substance abuse.
